Eric Lilliebridge – 525lbs x 2 Raw Bench Paused PR

This was my 2nd heavy bench session for my meet prep training for UPA Nationals in April. Worked up to a top set of 525lbs for a double paused, which was a PR for me. I did an additional single with 525 again afterwards just to get some extra practice in with my form and technique. So far my meet prep training is right on track and everything is going according to plan.

Eric Lilliebridge – Meet Prep Deadlift Training – 860lbs/390kg x1x2

This was my first heavy Deadlift training session for this training cycle. I haven’t Deadlifted heavy at all since my meet 3 weeks ago. So I gave myself a nice long de load on my Deadlifts after my meet. Everything felt really good for this training session. I felt fresh and ready to start going heavy again. I had planned on doing 860lbs for just one single, but I didn’t feel tired or fatigued after the first single, so I pulled it for another one which felt about the same as the first one. This is by far the strongest my Deadlift has felt starting out a meet prep training cycle. I think 410kg is definitely well within my reach for my meet in April.

Eric Lilliebridge – 420kgs/925lbs x 3 Raw Squat w/ Wraps

This was my first week back in knee wraps in about 10 weeks. Took it easy with the wraps and didn’t go too tight with them because I knew it would throw me off if I wrapped them like I used to before. Definitely could have wrapped my knees much tighter, but the rebound still felt good. Very happy with this training session considering how much time I took off from the wraps and it being my first week of meet prep training.
